Pricing updates for 2025
After holding prices firm since 2019, we’re raising Gimlet’s price slightly, starting now. The first branch on each account is now $32/month (previously $29), and additional branches each $11 (previously $10). Gimlet Max now starts at $409/month. (A full list of the differences in Gimlet Max is on our pricing page.) Keeping costs as low as possible remains one of our top priorities; we’re committed to offering the best value and service at the lowest possible rate for our clients.
If this increase is a financial burden for your library, please reach out to us at support@gimlet.us. We never want to price Gimlet out of the reach of any library, and we’ll work with you to find a price that we can agree on.
Why the change?
In a word: Inflation. The cost of everything — from our vendors’ services to the things we buy with our paychecks — has gone up over the last six years. As a point of reference, the amount we pay to the services that keep Gimlet running and healthy have gone up 50% since 2019.
What’s next?
We promise to continue working hard to keep costs down. This is only the third time we’ve raised prices since 2008, and each time we’ve done it, we’ve kept the price increase to the bare minimum and stayed at this new price for as long as possible.
We think Gimlet is still the best value out there for tracking public service interactions, and we’re going to work hard to keep it that way.
Cheers,
-Eric & Nate
