See Gimlet at ALA 2026
ALA is next: we’re bringing Gimlet and a first look at Tapboards to ALA 2026 at Booth #1524.
We’d love to talk with you about how your library captures public service desk activity, from reference and technology help to circulation, directional questions, programs, outreach, and all the busy moments in between.
Gimlet helps libraries collect and understand those interactions so you can better demonstrate your impact on the community. If conference week is a blur, that’s exactly why we like being there in person: we get to hear what is working, what is hard to track, and what would make day-to-day statistics easier for staff.
Exhibit Hours
- Friday, June 26: 5:30-7 p.m.
- Saturday, June 27: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday, June 28: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Monday, June 29: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Come See Tapboards
We’re especially excited to show off Tapboards, a new way to quickly collect service desk statistics with a simple touch-screen interface. Tapboards give staff color-coded, icon-driven shortcuts for common desk interactions, keeping entries fast and consistent without asking them to work through the full form every time.
Tapboards are designed to make tracking interactions faster, easier, and more consistent across service points, whether you’re working reference, circulation, a computer lab, a makerspace, a book mobile, children’s services, genealogy, or a temporary program desk.
If you’d like to set up a dedicated time to talk, send a note to support@gimlet.us. We’d be happy to compare notes, hear what your team needs, and give you a closer look at what’s coming next.
See you at ALA!
Cheers, -Eric & Nate
